Description This position will be in support of the National Information Technology Center (NITC), United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). . Assist NITC Change Management Process by performing duties and functions delegated byt the NITC Change Manager and ITSMB Chief . Maintain documentation for internal controls, operating instructions/processes/procedures for specific customer systems . Attend IT Service Manager (ITSM) meetings, assist meeting facilitator by recording relevant information, documenting meeting minutes, substituting as meeting facilitator . Review change requests to determine they meet standards and notifying individual if standard's are not met . Notify individuals of requirements to meet NITC Change Management and other Service Management standards . Monitor request for change to NITC infrastructure during Change Management Lifecycle . Administer the Change Management approval process . Administer quality assurance for Change Management . Assist staff with creation, modification, and best practices of change requests . Conduct ad hoc/requested advance research of Change Management system . Maintain electronic/physical archive of the Change Management system and/or requests . Assist facilitation of the Configuration Control Board (CCB), Executive Configuration Control Board (ECCB) weekly meetings . Lead the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Configuration Control Board weekly meetings . Develop/generate Change Management reports and metrics
Education . High School Diploma (Associate's Degree Preferred) Experience . Proficient in BMC's Remedy Change Management application . Proficient in MS Office suite . Must be able to follow instructions and work independently . Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment . Must have good communication skills to interact professionally on the phone and in person
