Business Analyst/Technology Specialist
Newly Created Role and Addition to Staff. Stable but growing company. Excellent time to work for this company. There is a very dynamic CTO who is looking to invest in technology. This is a highly visible role with exposure to many areas in the company. Some of the projects that the candidate might be involved in include developing Sharepoint sites for ease of document management between corporate and international locations and helping to expand video conferencing capabilities.
This role will act as a key project resource for Corporate IT in its push to modernize applications, platforms and processes. The specialist will be responsible for project identification and management of new technology solutions within the company This role will help identify areas for process and/or technology improvements. The person will also be responsible for guiding all facets of implementation to completion, working with IT and other resources as needed. Lastly, the individual will provide input into the strategic planning process.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in related discipline within Business Administration or Computer Science and/or relevant work experience simulating duties described above.
•Experience with new technologies/technology platforms a must (examples include Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Office Communicator or Lync, Android and/or iOS4/iOS5 ).
•Must be able to demonstrate examples of value creation through technology or process change in past experience.
•Minimum two years of leading new technology and/or process improvement implementation projects is preferred.
