Connections Director - Kansas City (Sports Marketing/Events/Promotions)
A unique opportunity to join a newly developed, innovative Association leadership team that is focused on the future and committed to youth development, social responsibility and healthy living.
General Function
Create, implement, manage and model systems and practices that support extraordinary member/participant experiences. Emphasis is on the member/participant and the satisfaction of their overall experience from initial engagement and enrollment to continual connection with the appropriate staff, programs services and/or small communities. Build a relationship-based membership that moves members/participants along a continuum from a casual connection to a committed level through increased Connections Director is a participant of the Center management team and the Association Connections team.
Minimum Qualifications
Must have a 4-year degree from an accredited college or university.
3 years experience as a Association Director or a related field.
2 years experience in customer service.
A minimum of two years experience with hiring, training, mentoring andsupervising staff as well as guiding and monitoring staff teams.
Must be qualified for Association Team Leader certification.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Ability to create a culture of serving the members and staff within the Center.
Ability to analyze complex information and define and solve problems.
Ability to inspire and motivate team members.
Passion, enthusiasm and support for mission and values of the Association.
Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issues.
First Aid/CPR/AED
Salary:
$31,931 - $47,897

Full-time positions offer competitive salary,benefits (health, dental, vision) vacation/sick time, 8% retirement contribution, program discounts and Association family membership.
