Data Quality Technical Analyst
We have an outstanding opportunity for a SAP Technical Analyst at a growing consulting firm working onsite in Kansas City, MO. Zip code 64111 This is a contract expected to last until the end of the year and probably will be extended through 2014.
The SAP Technical Analyst produces program technical specifications or equivalent from a functional specification for data quality analytical tools and reports in support of client data quality and data migration efforts (e.g. systems implementation, M&A, business process reengineering, etc.). Applies professional programming techniques to code and test; data extracts, data merges, filters, analytical programs and reports.
Responsibilities include:
* Utilize automated data profiling/assessment/remediation tools including; IBM Infosphere (formerly Ascential), SAP Data Services and Informatica.
* Leverages experience when performing source data analysis using tools and analytical techniques
* Leverages knowledge of PL/SQL, SQL, Shell Scripts (C, Korn, Bourne, KSH), UNIX, AIX, MS Access, Microsoft Excel and other programming tools (e.g. ABAP/4, C++, etc.) to develop technical solutions
* Applies database and technical knowledge to support the creation of automated data quality remediation solution functional specifications
* Develop technical specifications/requirements for data quality analytical tools and reports used to identify, improve and sustain data quality integrity levels.
Requirements: Possesses minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in at least one, full life cycle and complex SAP implementation applying specialized knowledge of data quality and data management tools and methods to design, code and test data analysis and data improvement programs to support large-scale data quality and data migration projects. Proven project implementation experience in the public sector is strongly desired.

Skills and Experience:
* Multiple enterprise application (e.g., SAP ECC,) full lifecycle implementation experience, including Requirements Analysis, Design, Build, Testing and Data Migration.
* Extensive experience in requirements gathering, gap analysis, and project management of data management or migration projects.
* Knowledge of SDLC and leading systems implementation methodologies (e.g. ASAP, AIM)
* Experience or familiarity working within the following environments; Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Shell (C, Korn, Bourne, KSH), UNIX, AIX, PL/SQL.
* Experience or familiarity with one or more of the following data modeling tools; Erwin, Oracle Designer, Toad Data Modeler.
* Experience in the development of technical design specifications, data mapping specifications, data conversion requirements and data readiness requirements in support of multiple data migration events.
Deep experience with commercial "off the shelf" data quality and data migration tools (e.g. IBM Infosphere, SAP SAY Data Services, Informatica, ODI, etc.)
* Experience as a creative problem solver with strong analytical skills and the ability to demonstrate all capabilities with limited supervision as part of a high performing team.
