Director of Sales and Marketing (Sports Management/Finance/Admin)
Our premier administrator of drug-testing services in sport is seeking a highly qualified and motivated candidate to serve as its Director of Sales and Marketing.
REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
3 to 5 years proven track record in outside sales and marketing; undergraduate degree in marketing, business, public relations or related field; willingness and ability to travel. Master's degree, prior collegiate sports participation/experience and knowledge of sports drug prevention preferred. Requirements
Minimum of bachelor's degree in marketing, business, public relations or a related field from an accredited college or university. Master's degree is preferred. 3-5 years of experience and a proven track record in outside sales and marketing. Candidate must possess specific working knowledge of amateur and professional sport. Candidate must have strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time. Candidate must possess persuasive interpersonal communication skills with ability to inspire staff and clients. Candidate must possess excellent communication (written/oral/listening) skills. Candidate must be highly motivated with a passion for excellence, extremely detail oriented with focus on time management and prioritizing tasks. Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills required. Willingness and ability to travel including overnight trips required (travel up to 30%) Working and operational knowledge of MS Office Suite and the Internet. Working and operational knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of sports drug prevention preferred. Participation in organized collegiate athletics preferred.
