A unique opportunity to join a newly developed, innovative Association leadership team that is focused on the future and committed to youth development, social responsibility and healthy living.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direction of the District Vice President, the Executive Director is responsible and accountable for all operational aspects of planning, developing, and implementing membership, programs and services at the appointed center and may be responsible for other aspects of operations. The Executive Director is expected to create a superior member experience, emphasize character development and the deliver the mission of the Association.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications
Four-year degree from an accredited college or university.
Five years experience as a Association Director or in a related field.
Passion, enthusiasm and support for mission and values of the Association.
Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issues.
Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations, and not-for-profit sector employment policies and procedures.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Ability to create a culture of serving the members and staff within the centers.
Ability to analyze complex information and to define and solve problems.
Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
Knowledge of marketing and promotion techniques.
Knowledge of compensation administration principles and procedures.
Proven experience in supervising, inspiring, developing and motivating associates.
Key abilities needed include relationship development, teambuilding, problem solving, and demonstrated community involvement. Applicants should have strong previous experience in face-to-face financial development, fiscal management, and board development. Previous experience with $1.5MM budget or higher preferred.
Salary:
$58,049 - $87,074
