Fabricator- C Location: Ottawa, KS Salary Range: DOE Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package Employment Type: Full Time Division: Schuff Steel - Midwest Description: Fabricates structural steel products such as framework for commercial building, power plants and bridges by performing the following duties. Plans sequence of operations. Sets up and operates fabricating machines such as Mag drills, Spot Punches, Hand burners, and run cranes. Hammers, chips, torch cuts, and grinds, steel members. Preheats work pieces. Conforms work pieces to specifications with some assistance. Sets up and operates machine tools associated with fabricating shops such as radial drill press, end mill, and edge planer. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 6months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
