Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
· Overall responsibility for the unit including financial (profit and loss), operational, and client services for a $20M per year/230-person operation that provides call center/customer care and print/fulfillment services to leading pharmaceutical and select market companies.

· Establishing and maintaining the unit's business plan and budget.

· Oversees senior management team at the unit to ensure client satisfaction, account profitability, operational efficiency, and quality.

· Provides leadership to create and maintain an environment that fosters high productivity, morale, creativity, success, and employee retention.

· Leads the unit to achieve increasing and sustained growth and profitability.

Required Experience and Skills:
· 8+ years of management experience with 5+ years of senior management/leadership experience with heavy and diverse responsibilities.

· Solid experience in pharmaceutical and print/fulfillment industries.

· Good understanding of the financial numbers that determine a unit's success and the numbers used to manage a business.

· Ability to lead seasoned department managers to achieve coordinated and integrated success with each other and in alignment with the unit's business goals.

· Ability to help lead the unit's management to achieve successful integration with other Direct Marketing units.

· Ability to oversee the creation of a budget for the unit that supports and is aligned with the unit's business plan.

· Ability to model the management and leadership traits Harte-Hanks desires its managers to exhibit.

· Solid understanding of the marketing and sales strategies of leading (pharma) companies.

· Ability to lead department managers to continually refine their staffing and organizational models to achieve increasing productivity, profitability, efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
