Line of Business: GRANDBRIDGE Job Category: Professional Primary Purpose:Perform loan administration duties for commercial mortgage loans, on behalf ofthe lender, with a particular focus on the collateral (typicallyincome-producing, real estate). Support the processing of borrower requests, aswell as the general enforcement of loan documents. Essential Duties andResponsibilities: Following is a summary of the essential functions for thisjob. Other Duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are notmentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. 1. Accuratelyand efficiently produce required analyses of operating statements and relatedfinancial statements of commercial income-producing properties and sponsors,including identifying and researching variances, normalizing and otherwiseadjusting the statements, per lender requirements. 2. Perform (or reviewthird-party) property inspections to verify sufficient maintenance ofcollateral, identify and report life safety issues, and other items of deferredmaintenance. Prepare and transmit the resulting reports to the lender in atimely fashion (per lender deadlines). 3. Support the analysis, underwriting andrecommendation of various borrower requests, including but not limited torequests for loan modifications, collateral releases, prepayment, maturityextensions, sales/assumptions and consent to tenant leases. Prepare drafts ofsuch analyses and formal recommendations for management review. 4. Analyze andprocess borrower requests for releases of funds from various reserve accounts,including but not limited to reserves for replacing capital items, reserves forleasing commissions and tenant improvements, and holdbacks for repairs orimprovements. 5. Analyze and support the processing of proceeds from insuranceloss claims. Prepare recommendations for disposition of insurance proceeds, inaccordance with loan documentation and lender/investor requirements. 6. Supportthe collection of delinquent loan payments, as well as the reporting of same. ist in the accurate and timely maintenance of the loan servicing systemdatabase regarding the loan accounting records, collateral- and borrower-relatedrecords, or other relevant records. 8. Identify and report borrower breaches ofloan document requirements. Three years of experience with commercial real estate, withat least one year experience with finance 3. Good written and verbalcommunication skills 4. Ability to travel, occasionally overnight 5. Ability toefficiently and consistently produce accurate work 6. Strong working knowledgeof loan accounting concepts, including interest accrual methodologies andamortization 7. Ability to read and comprehend most provisions of commoncommercial real estate loan documents 8. Intermediate-level skills withMicrosoft Excel and Microsoft Word 9. Basic-level skills with Adobe Acrobat(i.e., creation and manipulation of .PDF files) Desired Skills: 1.
