Inventory Controller
Summary:
Our company is very fast-growing Logistics and Order Fulfillment company seeking a qualified Inventory Controller to manage warehouse inventory. We are looking to fill this position very quickly.
Salary commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
- Receiving incoming inventory accurately
- Track and maintain inventory data
- Communicate with clients concerning inventory issues
- Manage inventory transformations (re-packing, re-labeling, etc)
- Enforce inventory management guidelines with warehouse staff
Requirements:
Skills required:
- Thorough knowledge of inventory management
- Prior experience as an Inventory controller, or Inventory assistant
- Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Past experience in managing a staff of 5+ people
- Forklift certification
- Professional written and spoken English skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to work in a freezer at -5 degrees F
- Food handling experience a plus
- Military experience a plus
