Our client is looking to hire Java Developer. This is a full-time permanent role in Kansas City, Missouri. We are only entertaining candidates with US Citizenship and Green Card . No sponsorship is available for this role.
NOTE: This is a fulltime permanent role in Kansas City, MO. Candidates in this role will have to relocate to or near Kansas City, MO for this opportunity
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Java Developer, you will be enhancing systems created using the following technologies: J2EE 1.5, Java Server Pages, Java Servlets, Struts, Javascript, HTML and XML.
The Product Development Team is a collaborative group of seven team members including a project manager, five software engineers and a quality assurance engineer. The team supports on-line applications utilized by States and Industry for the filing and evaluation of insurance products as well as for electronic tax filing and collection. The team works collaboratively with Business Analysts, Implementation Specialists and Help Desk personnel, all of which are part of the SERFF department, on Agile projects.
The department utilizes Jira for project, enhancement and defect tracking. Confluence is used as the Wiki. Hudson is used for build management and SVN for code version control.
Requirements:
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
The ideal candidate must have atleast 3 years’ experience with Java development
The ideal candidate must be well versed with J2EE, JavaScript and JSP
The ideal candidate must be well versed with Unit testing.
The ideal candidate must have experience working within the Oracle or SQL environment
