Job Description: The Sr. Application Developer/OBIEE serves as a Business Intelligence (BI) expert, developing (BI) solutions using OBIEE. Developing and socializing the BI Technology throughout the bank. Need to have an advanced understanding of working in a data warehouse environment, which includes data design, data integration, database architecture, metadata, report development and application tuning.
Requirements:
6+
years of IT work experience and 3-5 years of advanced OBIEE experience
Extensive design and development experience in all 3 layers of the RPD
Experience in using the Catalog Manager and report/dashboard development using Answers.
ETL/ Informatica/DAC experience specifically working with OBIEE
Experience with various data sources
Experience in customizing star/snowflake schemas
Experience in building and enhancing full and incremental load mappings/workflows in Informatica
Understanding of Siebel, Peoplesoft and Essbase data models
Work in a multi-user development environment (MUDE)
Experience with Interactive Dashboards, agents/Delivers and OBIEE security setup.
Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
Exceptional problem solving skills with strong technical background
Experience in performance tuning of reports
Experience in Financial, Sales and HR analytics
Proficient in Oracle database 11g, SQL, TOAD/SQL Developer and UNIX
Desired:
Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of OBIEE analytics
Experience with OBIEE 11g is highly desired.
Hyperion/Essbase experience is a plus
ERP experience is a plus
Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment
