We have an immediate opening for aPayroll Specialistin our Corporate Payroll Department. The number of hours per week for this position will be32 hours per week. The individual filling this role will process garnishments, tax levies, student loans, bankruptcies and child support orders in accordance with the terms of the individual orders.
This position requires comprehension of legal documents, may require communicating with various courts, attorneys and agencies throughout the US with a high level of accuracy/ confidentiality and the skill of communicating with discretion and empathy to the employees impacted by the garnishments. Requirements:
* High School diploma, college degree is a plus but not required. * 2 years experience in Payroll processing * Garnishment experience is required to be considered. * Prior payroll processing for multi-state employees. * Expert knowledge in HR/Payroll system, preferred knowledge in Ultimate Software's UltiPro and Microsoft Office Word & Excel. * Experience with creating reports in response to US Census, state Departments of Labor, Government agencies, internal requests, balance bonus payments, retroactive pay, 401K/409 deductions, garnishments, etc * Knowledgeable in properly completed employee tax forms, i.e. Federal Form W-4 * Ability to prioritize and execute tasks * Highly self-motivated and directed. * Excellent organizational >
