Responsibilities: * PRIMARY PURPOSE SUMMARY: Primary function is to develop, implement, document, test and maintain web-based – both client and server-side applications for Company's needs under supervision of Supervisor of Development. Software Engineer II must follow predefined internal process for software development of the Company. Work in a close cooperation and coordination with other team members. Produce a quality, documented and maintainable code. Follow the procedure for logging and reporting of tasks status and completion. Participate in projects and tasks discussion, analysis and design. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1. Software application development, testing and maintaining. 2. Participate in analysis and design phase of team's projects and tasks. 3. Document produced software code and log activities and tasks status following Company's rules and procedures. 4. Acquire and train in new technologies in direct supervision from Director of Development. Requirements: * QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: EDUCATION: Requires a Degree in Computer Science or related field and 5 years of relevant experience EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS 1. Strong knowledge in PHP version 5, both procedural and OO concepts & techniques 2. Solid understanding of the PHP internals, familiarity with the PHP Extension and Application Repository - module framework and code style guidelines 3. HTML, CSS and JavaScript (incl. Ajax), XML/XSLT knowledge Bonus Points: * * Sensitivity to security requirements in design and implementation * Experience with source control systems ( CVS, Subversion ) * Experience with PHP based open source frameworks (eg, Zend, Symfony, etc.) will be considered a plus * Two or more years in software development.
