Responsibilities:
LSA is seeking a contract Project Manager with focus experience implementing leading SPM systems, including Varicent, Synygy, Callidus, Xactly, Oracle SPM or other major incentive management solutions for clients in the cable or telecoms industries. Candidates with recent, in depth experience serving as PMs or in other program roles related to implementation or operations of these or similar systems will receive strongest consideration. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate relevant knowledge and expertise in any or all of the areas of SPM systems and related business operations, including commissions programs, management of compensation changes, customization and deployment of related systems, and associates process changes and risk management relevant to the incentive compensation space.
We welcome both “IT side” and “business side” candidates: technical experience can include areas such as architecture, performance planning, conversion, infrastructure, integration, testing or other IT domains; business experience can include commissions program planning, incentive compensation strategy, business readiness, training, communications, field support or other areas.
Our experienced PMs also are expected to excel at senior level client communications, facilitation and presentation, and be able to be effective in a matrixed, highly collaborative working environment.
Requirements:
Candidates demonstrated expertise in one or more of the leading PM methodologies: “big 4”-type training, PMI-PMBOK or vendor implementation methodologies. We welcome candidates from varied industry backgrounds; however, our primary focus of this search is for a consulting PM for a major cable MSO client. Candidates with specific concentration serving cable, or other telecoms carriers from a consulting, vendor or industry role will receive strongest consideration.
In addition to proven professional consulting PM skills, for these positions, candidates must bring exceptional experience consulting to or supporting SPM systems implementations, upgrades or operations.
Other enabling background will include sophisticated communications skills, including top-tier executive presentation creation and delivery in PowerPoint and/or Visio, in-depth project planning and management using MS-Project, dynamic facilitation skills, ability to work at multiple levels including to Director and VP level, and ability enlist and drive participation of cross-functional client, vendor and LSA team members. Candidates will be asked to demonstrate their strong skills in developing and delivering high-impact, visually stimulating program materials to client executives.
Required Qualifications:
• Direct experience leading or participating in SPM (e.g., Synygy, Callidus, Varicent, Xactly, Oracle SPM, etc) implementations upgrades or operations.
• Bachelors or Masters’ degree.
• At least 5 years of Project Management experience is required, with MS-Project skills.
• Operations or consulting experience focused on SPM implementations, conversions or related business transformations.
• Proven experience deploying and executing industry-standard Project Management methodologies.
• Must possess and demonstrate outstanding presentation development and delivery skills, with ability to inform, influence and have impact.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Readiness to adapt work and personal schedules to client needs.
• Ability to build team cohesiveness to achieve results.
• Highly skilled in organization and planning.

The position is in St. Louis. Local candidates preferred; traveling candidates will also be considered.
