Process Control Engineer
Process Control System Engineer
The Process Control System Engineer will make certain that the process control systems, electrical systems, and software/hardware can support safe, cost effective, environmentally responsible, and quality production.
The right candidate should be able to create PCS maintenance plans, offer technical expertise for maintenance operations personnel, hazard analysis teams, external contractors and other engineers, software configuration and programming on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Digital Control Systems (DCS) and safety systems (Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS)
Administer development of drawing, construction, and labor bid packets ensuring that the parameters of the project meet codes, design requirements and cost proposals.
Develop cost estimates, budgets and schedules for PCS installations
Requirements:
Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline or technical degree (AS) in Process Control technology.\
Three years of experience in process measurement and applications in a manufacturing environment
Experience in Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) including software/ hardware/ batch/ continuous systems
Knowledge of process instrumentation application, checkout, startup and maintenance
Experience and knowledge of the application, design, documentation and checkout and startup of motor control circuits.
