DST Retirement Solutions (DST RS) currently administers $57 billion in assets and services 274,000 plans with 5.1 million participants.
Volatile changes in the stock market and the movement from defined benefit to defined contribution plans have increased participant demand for retirement income options. Historically, recordkeepers, insurers, and financial intermediaries have not had a standardized method to trade information and transact business. As an innovator, DST has worked with industry leaders, both recordkeepers and insurers, to develop a platform that is designed to streamline previously cumbersome operations caused by retirement income solutions. As a technology developer, DST's core business is to build applications that can effectively interface with a variety of legacy systems, saving our clients valuable development resources, while advancing their businesses. Our latest initiative, RICC, continues DST's long tradition of innovative systems development solutions. The Product Leader position is a great opportunity to manage product offerings for RICC. This role will guide a team that is charged with the product line contribution as a business unit. This extends from increasing the profitability of existing products to developing new products for the company.
As a Product Leader you are responsible for product planning and execution throughout the entire product life cycle. You will determine and/or guide product vision and strategy, presenting information and plans to senior management. Develop, track, and report on multiple products simultaneously, in various cycles of development. Apply technical expertise, business acumen, product knowledge, and industry experience to effectively manage the product development and delivery process.
Candidates must have 7-10 years of retirement recordkeeping and administration experience, indicating progressively increasing responsibility. Detailed knowledge of insurance products offered in the retirement income space is preferable.
The successful candidate must possess strong leadership skills, demonstrating a strong desire to influence change, communication skills with demonstrated ability toeffectively build relationships and influence across the enterprise.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of formal education and work experience is required. Required Skills Candidates must have 7-10 years of retirement recordkeeping and administration experience, indicating progressively increasing responsibility. Desired Skills Detailed knowledge of insurance products offered in the retirement income space is preferable.
