Responsibilities:
LSA is seeking full-time consulting project managers with very strong Logistics and Supply Chain background to join our business and grow our capabilities in this space. LSA has initial opportunities for client service in this area, which will leverage your strategy, technology and business transformation abilities in order to help one of our major clients launch a new business channel.
All of our experienced PMs, in addition proven program delivery experience in their fields of expertise, will bring strong experience understanding client needs, establishing structured, high-performing project teams, managing to challenging commitments, and providing leadership to clients and team members. Experienced Project Managers will be expected to be familiar with formal Project Management concepts and methodologies. Our experienced PMs also are expected to excel at senior level client communications, facilitation and presentation.
Candidates for these roles without strong and specific Logistics and Supply Chain experience are encouraged to apply for one of Lake Shore’s other posted positions.

Requirements:
The core requirement for success in these roles is demonstrated excellence in envisioning, planning, managing and deploying client transformations in Logistics and Supply Chain operations. Specific experience planning and executing transitions to Third Party Logistics (3PL) providers, and/or managing related operations for various fulfillment activities is essential. Your ability to articulate your contributions to major Logistics transformation and/or outsourcing programs will be a key factor in assessing your ability to succeed. These roles are delivered on a consulting basis, therefore, you must demonstrate your ability to work collaboratively, with a client service approach, in an environment in which you may be leading or participating in blended client / Lake Shore / vendor teams.
Candidates will preferable have a name brand consulting background with demonstrated expertise in one or more of the leading PM and related methodologies: “big 4”-type training, PMI-PMBOK or other approaches. We welcome candidates from varied industry backgrounds; however, as this client is in telecoms, any prior experience in a related industry is welcome. Candidates not coming from significant professional consulting background will need to demonstrate equivalent experience from a recognized corporate internal consulting operation or other major change programs in addition to domain experience.
Other enabling background will include sophisticated communications skills, including top-tier executive presentation creation and delivery in PowerPoint and/or Visio, in-depth project planning and management using MS-Project, dynamic facilitation skills, ability to work at multiple levels including to VP and C-level, and ability enlist and drive participation of cross-functional client, vendor and LSA team members. Candidates will be asked to demonstrate their strong skills in developing and delivering high-impact, visually stimulating program materials to client executives.
Required Qualifications:
•Experience at a top tier consulting firm, with commitment to do what it takes to satisfy demanding clients
• Proven strong experience in the Supply Chain / Logistics space, at large scale, ideally including 3PL-related project or operational management.
• Bachelors or Masters degree required.
• At least 7 years of Project Management experience is required, with strong MS-Project skills.
• Proven experience deploying and executing industry-standard Project Management methodologies.
• Must possess and demonstrate outstanding presentation development and delivery skills, with ability to inform, influence and impact at senior executive levels.
• Excellent written and oral communications and facilitation skills.
• Readiness to adapt work and personal schedules to client needs.
• Ability to build team cohesiveness to achieve results.
• Highly skilled in organization and planning.
• Ability to self-start and be versatile in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to promote a shared vision and customer focus.
Other Desirable Qualifications:
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Integration and/or major business transformation experience.
• Wireless telecom carrier consulting and/or operational experience.
