RCIS Underwriting Specialist 1
Develop a working knowledge of crop insurance policy and procedural updates; respond to incoming calls from agents and field staff on technical or procedural questions that are basic to moderately complex in nature; assist policy processor team members with questions on technical or procedural issues; research complex policy issues and/or questions; following established SOPs, independently and timely resolve basic to moderately complex CI*Max suspensions - may require some guidance; work with RMA Regional Office to submit and process policyholder RMA exception requests; assist in resolving FCIC errors; review, process, and audit documents and supporting records associated with the procurement of MPCI, Hail and Named Peril insurance; assist as needed with basic to moderately complex processing issues; participate in the development and delivery of crop insurance policy and procedure training to RCIS team members and agents.
Basic Qualifications: 1+ years crop insurance experience.
