Description This position will be in support of the National Information Technology Center (NITC), United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). This position will be responsible for all aspects of development and implementation of assigned projects and provide a single point of contact for those projects. Take projects from concept through final implementation. Interface with all areas including end users, computer services, and client services. Define project scope and objectives. Develop work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports, tracking and analysis. Duties will include but are not limited to: . Manage all contract tasks . Review work discrepancies . Supervise contractor personnel and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates . Review and submit all NITC-furnished records of service and verify that the hours on the record of service match the monthly invoice . Overall contract performance responsibility and shall not serve in any other capacity under this contract . Schedule and monitor professional development training . Maintaining lists of GFE and GFI . Coordinate travel requests and ensuring travel funds are available, not exceeding and are in compliance with all Federal Travel regulations . Attend meetings as required . Identify methodologies and performance schedules to ensure work is progressing satisfactorily . Telephone or email notification to the COTR or Site Lead of absences within 1 hour of awareness of an unscheduled absence . Notify the COTR and COR if the expected use of funds and resources exceed the authorized levels before usage . Verify on a daily basis that the contractor and any sub-contractor employee works the hours that the employee records on the record of service
Education . Bachelor's Degree Experience . Management experience, including expertise in the management and control of funds and resources using complex reporting mechanisms . Demonstrate the ability in managing multi-task awards and/or subcontract awards of various types and complexity
Special Requirements/Certifications . PMP Desired
