JOB DESCRIPTION
* Installs, configures, and maintains Windows 2003 servers and applicable management tools such as HP SIM , IBM Director and Microsoft System Center Operations Manager. * Independently performs intermediate second level server troubleshooting. * Independently performs intermediate second level operating system troubleshooting, including the resolution of over utilization, LAN connectivity, memory resource allocation, and hard drive access issues. * Provides regular status reports of team projects to members of management. * Develops and tracks own performance with respect to key objectives, behaviors, and leadership competencies for the job.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Associate’s degree specializing in information systems, technology, or equivalent work experience and appropriate OS certifications. * Bachelor’s degree preferred. MCSE/MCSA certification required or equivalent experience. * At least two years of experience working with Windows 2003 Server. * At least five years preferred. * Proficient in providing advanced second level support of the Windows 2003 Server operating system. * Knowledge of operating system security and network technologies. * Must be able to act independently and implement project related assignments of medium duration and complexity. * Able to follow detailed instructions step-by-step for successful change implementation. * Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. * Should possess knowledge of Microsoft administration tools, Windows file structures, and NTFS directory and file security.
