At Quest Diagnostics Incorporated, we understand urgency. But more than speed, we focus our energies on accuracy. Currently, we seek a Sales Support Specialist II for our Bloomington, IL location. Responsibilities The Sales Support Specialist provides on-going support, training and service for underwriters and underwriting departments. Functions as the primary contact for all underwriting departments assigned and supports their daily activities as they relate to LabOne and ExamOne. Utilizing excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the Sales Support Specialist builds rapport with underwriters, laboratory personnel and examination personnel and develops strong business relationships. They must be a proactive problem-solver, attuned to changing client needs and creative in developing procedures which satisfy both company and client needs and requirements. The Sales Support Specialist must demonstrate good follow-up skills. A strong customer service-orientation is essential to success in this position and provides critical, on-going customer service support to internal and external clients.
The Sales Support Specialist must be self-directed with the ability to set and achieve sales goals, manage multiple projects and deadlines and work with little supervision. Good oral and written communication skills and a professional telephone manner are necessary in this position.
The Sales Support Specialist must not only exhibit good sales and communication skills, he/she must also be knowledgeable about all aspects of client activity (i.e. impact of competition), effectively manage company resources and complete a variety of administrative and record keeping functions in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with company procedures.
The Sales Support Specialist will act as the primary contact for client underwriting departments. A professional appearance and demeanor is expected. Agent training may also be required. The Sales Support Specialist must also be knowledgeable of all quality control and quality assurance guidelines of ExamOne. This may require working with multiple areas to help improve the process.
