At our Lenexa site we manufacture and assemble a wide selection of galley insert equipment including coffee and espresso makers, water boilers and liquid containers, as well as passenger and crew oxygen storage and delivery systems.

As a Senior Recruiter, you will perform specific functions related to the company's recruitment with primary emphasis on professional, technical, and management positions. You will provide specific functional tasks related to staffing including sourcing, selection, and interviewing. Other responsibilities include:
* Develops effective working relationships with placement agencies, colleges, technical schools, and job fairs.
* Maintains effective working relationships with all levels of company management to ensure adequate coverage of personnel needs.
* Consults with management to identify and recommend the most qualified candidates.
* Extends offers to selected candidates and may arrange for relocation when appropriate.
* Maintains an effective personnel advertising program as directed and coordinated by the corporate human resources department.
* Keeps informed of developments in such areas as wages and salaries, employee benefits, and general personnel practices.
* Performs direct recruiting and sourcing activities for open positions; sources both active and passive candidates
* Assist in the administration of EEO, Affirmative Action and OFCCP compliance providing support in sourcing minority/diversity organizations, training programs, job postings, applicant flow, employee classification, E-Verify, etc.
* Assist with the design of a sourcing strategy to uncover both passive and active candidates through existing and new sources in order to maintain an effective pool of candidates. Utilize electronic process in recruiting and placement to maximize efficiency and time saving. Develop recruiting strategies designed to identify qualified candidates through various recruiting tools.
* Source candidates through internet and resume database searches, referrals, cold calling and ad placements.
* Use innovative sourcing techniques to fill positions and create pipeline, leverage technology to find active and passive candidates, and have a comfort level with cold calling
* Identify new strategies to improve the number of qualified and diverse candidates for the hiring manager
* Maintains awareness of current trends in recruiting, client, employment market and legislation
* Coordinate and conduct presentations and establish and maintain relationships with area and regional schools. Also attends various recruiting events.
* Maintain high-touch direct communication with candidates, client representatives and team members during the job/candidate cycle
* Coordinates interview scheduling; may include making travel arrangements, coordinating candidate and client schedules, offer administration and job/personnel file compliance as needed
* Negotiate wage rates and other terms and conditions of employment with candidates, and gain commitment from candidates for current and future job requirements.
* Facilitate the offer process communication
* Complete necessary pre-employment processes including reference checks and background/drug tests.
* Takes ownership of process improvements and troubleshoots processes as well as participates in group continuous improvement activities

Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and at least four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Requirements:
* PHR Certification
* Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques and recruitment best practices, including utilizing social media to source and attract top talent
* Possess a thorough understanding of federal laws including Title VII, EEOC, ADA, ADEA, FMLA and FLSA
* Strong background in technical recruiting (engineering)
* Considerable experience working in a manufacturing environment
* Ability to interface and maintain effective working relationships with individuals at all levels
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and Visio
