GENERAL SUMMARY
Has responsibility for designing and developing courses based upon the curriculum roadmap defined by the RSA Education Services organization. This position requires extensive knowledge of information security, including security best practices, security policy, security standards and regulations, and enterprise governance, risk and compliance. The person must have the ability to apply instructional design techniques to course development projects, define and apply standards and methodologies for all course development projects, and manage multiple course development addition to recognized expertise in technology/products and the ability to leverage those capabilities in education, this individual will need to be highly self-motivated and thrive in cross-functional, dynamic project environments.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Works independently and in team settings to develop technical training courses and assessments for RSA partners and customers, including evaluation of student and instructor feedback for continuous improvement.
· Works cross-functionally to assess role and technology training requirements and design best fit training solutions (course, curriculum and assessments).
· Works collaboratively on course design, content, learning objectives and reviews deliverables through the development phases.
· Uses instructional design techniques (develops learning objectives, evaluates content and audience requirements, develops content structure and sequence to achieve learning objectives, designs testing instruments).
· Participates in the set up, configuration and troubleshooting of complex lab configurations for hands on technical training, including ownership of all associated lab guides.
· Delivers pilot training sessions and/or “Train-the-Trainer” sessions when new content is being rolled out.
· Works with Ed. Services organization to ensure standardization and technical accuracy of all course materials.

Experience/Skills Required:
· Bachelor’s degree in a technical or educational field.
· Proven experience developing technical instructional materials in a high tech environment.
· CISSP or other security certification preferred but not required
· Understanding of and experience in implementing technical security solutions is desirable
· Competency in the areas of security best practices, security policy creation and implementation, industry standards and regulations on information security, and/or eGRC.
· Ability to quickly grasp technical content.
· Ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
· Ability to work independently.
