JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Vice President of Endowment and Planned Giving has responsibility for day-to-day planning, coordination, and management of a comprehensive program for promoting, cultivating and soliciting planned and endowment gifts in support of the Association and Foundation. This position is both strategic and tactical, working closely with both leadership volunteers and staff, reporting to the Chief Mission Development Officer. The incumbent will develop and carry a personal portfolio of prospects, develop and implement a marketing strategy, and work with other Mission Development team members, Executive Directors and volunteers in creating and implementing solicitation strategies for endowment and planned giving prospects.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of a bachelor's degree with Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) or Certified Fund Raising Management (CFRM) designation desirable.
Minimum of eight to ten years of nonprofit development experience required, including substantial professional experience in the personal attainment of major gifts (not just as a team member).
Strong commitment to the mission, vision, values, and programs of the Association, and the ability to convey that information.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to include: verbal, written, presentation, facilitation and negotiation.
Ability to forge productive working relationships with people at all levels within the Association organization and also the diverse communities we serve.
Proficient user of Google andMicrosoft Office ser's Edge software proficiency desirable.
Ability to work outside standard work hours and to travel locally and nationally; a current driver's license is required.
Salary:
$65,076 - $97,614
